• Multi-ride tickets are available for all train types.
• In the event of over-rides, multi-ride ticket holders should pay the fare difference (the actual single-journey fare – the single-journey fare of the multi-ride ticket between the designated departure and arrival stations).
• Once exiting TYM stations, multi-ride ticket holders shall not be refunded for the difference of the fare for untraveled journey unless there is fault attributable to the TYM.

• Please apply for the refund at the Information Counter with the multi-ride ticket and the certificate of purchase within the two years from the expiry date. Separate multi-ride tickets cannot be combined for refund. Overdue multi-ride tickets are not refundable. (Note: The multi-ride ticket only contains 1 certificate of purchase. Please keep the certificate of purchase properly as it cannot be reissued if lost or damaged.)
• Unless otherwise stipulated, the refund should be calculated as follows: purchase price of the multi-ride ticket – single-journey fare (full fare) between the designated stations*times of use – handling fee NT$20. No refund can be made if the ticket balance is less than the handling fee.
• The times of use mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall refer to the total number of the multi-ride tickets – the number of the multi-ride tickets to be refunded.

• Once the multi-ride tickets are sold, no change can be made in departure and arrival stations. To make a change, the multi-ride ticket holders should apply for the refund of their multi-ride tickets and then repurchase new multi-ride tickets.
• The multi-ride tickets are not registered. They cannot be reissued if lost or damaged.
• Please keep the multi-ride ticket properly. In the event that the multi-ride ticket or the serial number is illegible, it cannot be reissued or refunded.

• The multi-ride ticket refund, if any, shall be requested by the ticket holder with the Information Counter at the relevant station within 1 years as of expiration of the valid term. Overdue multi-ride tickets are not refundable.
• Unless otherwise provided, the ticket refund amount shall refer to the balance refunded after the collected multi-ride ticket price less “the singe-journey adult ticket price exclusive for designated stations multiplying by the number of completed rides” and the ticket refund handling charge, NT$20 (no refund is allowed, if the collected multi-ride ticket price cannot afford the refund).

• When purchasing the ticket for the first time, please contact the Information Counter at the relevant station, select the designated departure and destination stations, pay the multi-ride ticket price and cost of production, NT$30 per sheet (non-refundable), and then claim the ticket on the spot.
• Renewal: Upon completion of the number of rides or expiration of the valid term for the multi-ride ticket, the ticket holder may apply for renewal with the Information Counter on the ground of the original ticket and pay the multi-ride ticket price. Where the number of rides remains uncompleted while the valid term expires, the multi-ride ticket holder shall apply for renewal only after ticket refund.
• The ticket is an anonymous Contactless Smart Card and cannot be reissued if lost.

No ticket will be refunded after redemption. If you wish to have your ticket refunded, the whole ticket must be kept unused. Please refer to the original [Taoyuan Metro] office, where your ticket was purchased and proceed with the refund before 30 September 2020 (handling fee of NT$20 per ticket applies).

  • (1)Bicycles access is available at certain Metro stations on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, deferred holidays, and flexibly adjusted holidays (designated workdays excluded). Station entry is permitted, from 06:00 to the end of service.
  • (2)Weekdays and designated workdays: 10:00~16:00, 22:00 to the end of service.
  • (3)Bicycles cannot be brought into stations during other periods. Any changes to the above policies will be publicly bulletined.
• No access for cyclists: Taoyuan International Airport A12-A14a, Express train.
