The Express trains depart from Taipei Main Station (A1), stops at New Taipei Industrial Park Station (A3), Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station (A8), Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12), Airport Terminal 2 Station (A13) and the future Airport Terminal 3 Station (A14), a total of six stations.
As Taiwan's first rapid transit service connecting the international airport and the surrounding cities, Taoyuan MRT provides Express trains and Commuter trains to satisfy passengers with different demands. The Express trains are designed to serve mainly air travelers whereas the Commuter trains are for general commuters. The underground stations are Taipei Main Station (A1), National Taiwan Sports University Station (A7), Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12), Airport Terminal 2 Station (A13), Airport Terminal 3 Station (A14), Airport Hotel Station (A14a) and Huanbei Station (A21).。In addition, Laojie River Station (A 22) and Zhongli Station (A 23), which extend to the Zhongli Railway Station are underground stations.
Taoyuan Metro Corporation is a 100% public-funded enterprise, jointly funded by Taoyuan City, New Taipei City and Taipei City and the local competent authority is Taoyuan City Government.
What are the plans for the future extension of the Taoyuan Airport MRT Line to Zhongli Railway Station? Starting from Airport MRT A21 (Huangbei Station), the extension goes south along Zhongfeng Road to the intersection of Zhongyang West Road and Zhongfeng Road to set up the Laojie River Station (A22). Then, it goes straight to the surrounding of Zhongshan Road and turns eastwards underneath the residential houses to Zhongzheng Road, then to the current Zhongli Railway Station of Taiwan Railways, to set up the co-shared Zhongli Elevated Railway Station (A23) in the future. There will be three underground stations along this extension line, which will be 2.06 km in length. The planning and construction of the Taoyuan MRT Airport Line are conducted by the Railway Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications. After its completion, it will be handed over to Taoyuan Metro Corporation for operation.

Passengers whose license plates are recorded by the License Plates Recognition System upon entering the car park can pay by cash/credit card/O'Pay electronic payment at the Automatic Pay Station.
